The link between PMS and mental health has been well known with the help of medical research. Behavioural and emotional symptoms such as moodiness, sadness, irritability and anger are quite prevalent amongst people around their periods. Shivangi is a final year student of B.A. English Honours at Christ University, Bengaluru, and is a member of GirlUp Mukti. She believes in working ardently to break stereotypes brought about via societal conditioning and works towards bringing about awareness to dismantle hierarchies in an attempt to make the world a better place. Apart from all the seriousness, she reads a lot, is a food lover, and is trying to love herself a little more everyday.
