Mental Health Care Act, India explained by Adv. Ms.Vani Manoraj

As published – Mental Healthcare Act,2017 is “An Act to provide for mental healthcare and services for persons with mental illness and to protect, promote and fulfil the rights of such persons during delivery of mental healthcare and services and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.”

Ms. Vani Manoraj explains the rights of Indians provided by Mental Health Care Act of India in this podcast. Ms. Vani Manoraj is an Advocate (India) who is associated with Sewa International. She obtained her Master of Laws degree from King’s College London (2018) and Bachelor of Laws degree from University of Mumbai (2017). She briefly worked with the United Nations International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals and Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR). She is currently associated with various NGO’s on human rights issues in Delhi.
