MHT India brings to you a webinar on Mindful Parenting with Ms. Charu Juneja, a family therapist, hosted by Ms. Haveesha Buddhdev, MHT Associate and Founder of Sveekriti.

In this MHT Live, we explore what the term ‘parenting’ means and also discuss some tips on what parents can do in difficult situations. Ms. Charu Juneja helps understand these concepts with actual live examples and also tell us more about mindful parenting. Mindful parenting is parenting with a new perspective and our expert who is a parent herself aims to throw light on this new effective outlook towards parenting.

Ms. Charu Juneja is a psychologist working with TGES school in Rajkot, Gujarat. She is a certified Special Educator, Counselling psychologist and Family Therapist. She has been working with TGES groups of schools since almost a decade as a counsellor and special educator working for the betterment of SEN children. She has conducted various teacher training and parent workshops to spread awareness about mental health, how to make the school an inclusive place and also on mindful parenting.

Ms. Haveesha Buddhdev, founder of Sveekrti is a counselling psychologist, REBT therapist and a special educator.
She is working as a School Psychologist for the past 2 years. Her expertise is in dealing with special needs children, training teachers, parents and other students to make a safe environment for everyone at school and home.
She practices part-time to provide counselling to adults for any adjustment, stress or emotional concerns and teaches special needs children. She wishes to reach out to as many as possible to encourage everyone to talk about their mental health.

Sveekrti means self-acceptance. It is an initiative to spread mental health awareness through various means. It aims to provide the audience with self-help steps/guide to move towards better mental health by introducing them to psychological constructs in very simple terms using common examples of concerns faced by them. It also aims to provide a platform for people to reach out to talk about their mental health and take back skills to be self-sufficient.

Through Sveekrti Ms. Haveesha Buddhdev wishes to reach out to people by conducting a series of webinars on relevant psychological topics along with step by step guidance of reaching self-acceptance.

About MHT Live

MHT Live is an online space with live streaming on Facebook, Youtube and Instagram. At MHT Live, mental health professionals such as psychiatrists, psychologists, researchers and scholars come together and address a particular issue or advancements in the field of mental health and even chat with the viewers through a live chatbox.
