In this unique conversation, Mr. Harish talks about very important values of Love and Compassion. He suggests that everyone in this world shall identify themselves with these values. He talks about how an individual can bloom in this society if everyone around practiced and expressed love and compassion.
He describes love as a feeling which can only be felt towards someone or something and compassion is the act through which this love is expressed. If one does not engage in an act of compassion and kindness, there is no meaning of the feeling of love. It is like a beautiful circle of life, where one individual feels love for someone and expresses through an act of compassion and kindness and in turn receives that kindness.
These values are important in the process of suicide prevention. As per Mr. Harish. the thought of suicide occurs to an individual when he/she feels very lonely and cornered away from society’s love and acceptance as a human is a social animal and needs a sense of belongingness in the society. Hence, when that happens, society needs to show these values of love and compassion towards that individual to reinstall the lost sense of belongingness.
Tune in to this conversation to know from Mr. Harish about how to absorb these values of love and compassion and how to practice them so as to help those in need and prevent the reasons that leads to suicide.
