We all aspire to be in love and experience it in our lives. But how do we know when we are in love? Learn about the psychology of love from an expert. Ms. Vishwa Modi, a psychologist based out of Mumbai, shares with the viewers the origin of love.

Love is also a biological process involving the release of hormones such as dopamine and oxytocin. Ms. Vishwa Modi talks about these physiological and psychological changes that are also involved when experience love. She touches upon The “Triangular Theory of Love”, developed by Professor Robert Sternberg (an American Psychologist), defining: Commitment, Intimacy & Passion, as 3 pillars to a healthy relationship. These 3 pillars are crucial for a relationship to thrive and not just survive.

About Ms. Vishwa Modi

Ms. Vishwa is a psychologist, specialising in geriatric mental health, based out of Mumbai. She is a queer affirmative and trauma-informed practitioner using a neuro-psychotherapeutic lens with her clients.

Additionally, Ms. Vishwa Modi is a certified dementia skills trainer and a committee member at Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Society of India.
