Baby blues are common after childbirth, yet, not many mothers are aware of it. Similarly, there is little awareness regarding how to soothe yourself as a mother as well as the child when experience emotional ups and downs brought by baby blues. Furthermore, it is important to understand the difference between baby blue and postpartum depression. A mother should be aware of these subtle difference so that they can take appropriate help and support.

The speaker of this podcast, keeping her identity anonymous, shares the experience after child-birth in an Indian household. She is the mother of an 18 months old son and talks about what she went through psychologically and emotionally after giving birth to her first child.
