Bipolar India is a pan India support community which caters to the emotional needs of individuals diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and also their caregivers. They have support groups running both on state as well as national level where individuals who are struggling with mental illness can seek out support and guidance on making the most of their lives and not feel bounded by their diagnosis.

About Bipolar India

Mr. Vijay Nallawala was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2003. After this happened, he struggled with gaining acceptance from society and also faced a lot of stigmas, due to the lack of awareness about this mental illness.

In May 2013, along with his friend and mentor Mr. Puneet Bhatnagar, Mr. Vijay Nallawala founded Bipolar India, probably India’s first online community set up for the Bipolar community.

They have now grown into a family where it is not just a support community, but a family. Each individual supports and motivates the other to be the best version of themselves and not let the diagnosis define them. 

Bipolar India has Resources page where they have insightful research around bipolar Disorder, a professional help page, where mental health professionals provide their guidance and support and also multiple support groups on WhatsApp and Telegram.

Mr. Vijay Nallawala was an entrepreneur when he was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder back in 2003. From then, he has constantly grown and moved towards building a supportive society where mental illness is well accepted and also not stigmatized against.

Mr. Nallawala in the past 7 years, has supported countless bipolar disorder survivors as well as their caregivers in their own personal struggles and also created various awareness campaigns to promote de-stigmatization of Bipolar Disorder in India.
